2. Remove a Green Smoke® FlavorMax™ Cartomizer from its packaging, remove the Green Seal™ sticker and rubber plug, and screw the cartomizer gently onto the battery
3. Take a puff and enjoy!
4. When you’ve finished smoking, remove the cartomizer from the battery and put both the battery and cartomizer into your Green Smoke® Carrying Case.
Do I need to turn my battery on and off?
No! The Green Smoke® e-cigarette has a built in sensor which activates when you inhale, and turns itself off when not in use. The Green Smoke® e-cigarette was designed this way so you could enjoy a fluid smoking experience and use them just like a traditional cigarette. To maximize battery life it is recommended to unscrew the cartomizer from the e-cigarette battery when not in use.
Should I charge my battery before I use it?
The batteries are shipped with a 70% charge, which is the best way to store lithium-ion batteries. You don’t need to charge it when you receive it, but for optimal performance it is highly recommended.
How long do the batteries last? And how long does it take for them to charge?
Our long battery (270 mAh/4.6 inches) lasts for approximately 400 puffs per charge. This is equivalent to about 33 cigarettes (with one cigarette being roughly equivalent to 12 puffs). The short battery (160 mAh/4.0 inches) lasts for approximately 300 puffs per charge which is the equivalent of about 25 cigarettes. On average, the long battery takes 4 to 5 hours to recharge, and the short battery takes 3 to 4 hours to recharge. The lifespan of the batteries is approximately 400 charges (around one year worth of use). (*Over time all lithium ion batteries lose some of their charging capacity. These numbers are for a fully optimized battery.)

Can I leave my battery plugged in to charge overnight?
Removing the electronic cigarette battery from the charger as soon as its light turns green will dramatically increase the lifespan of your battery.
